Everything you want to know about rafting on the Una
Do I need to know how to swim?+
No. Every guest wears a safety life vest and our experienced certified skippers guide the raft through every rapid. Rafting on the Una is safe for non-swimmers too.
How long does the rafting last and what is the route?+
Depending on the tour, you're on the water 2–4 hours. The adrenaline and student routes run from Štrbački Buk to Lohovo (15 km), while the family route follows Kostela–Grmuša (14 km).
What is included in the price?+
Full equipment (life vest, helmet, wetsuit), transfer to the start and back, and a certified skipper. Just bring a swimsuit, a towel and footwear that can get wet.
When is the best season for rafting on the Una?+
The season runs from spring to autumn (April–September). Spring brings higher water and more adrenaline, while summer offers calmer, warmer conditions ideal for families.
Is rafting safe for children and beginners?+
Yes. The family tour runs the calmer stretches of the Una and is suited to children and beginners, with full equipment and constant skipper supervision.
