When to raft? The best time for the Una

The rafting season on the Una runs roughly from April to October, and each part of the season has its own charm. Choosing the right time depends on whether you’re after adrenaline or a relaxed family experience.
Spring (April–June)
Higher water levels mean stronger rapids and more adrenaline. Ideal for the more experienced and those who want a real challenge. The water is colder, so a wetsuit is a must — we provide it.
Summer (July–August)
The most popular period: warm weather, pleasant water and perfect conditions for families and groups. We recommend booking early, as slots fill up fast.
Autumn (September–October)
Calmer stretches, beautiful natural colors and fewer crowds. A great choice for photographers and anyone who wants the peace of the river away from the summer buzz.
Whatever the date, get in touch and we’ll help you pick the perfect day for your Una adventure.
