Rafting on the Una: a beginner’s guide

Rafting on the Una River is one of the most beautiful adventures you can have in Bosnia and Herzegovina. If you have never paddled before, don’t worry — the Una has stretches for every level, and experienced skippers guide you safely from start to finish.
Is rafting safe for beginners?
Absolutely. Every participant gets a life vest, a helmet and a short briefing before entering the water. Our skippers are certified and spend thousands of hours on the river each season. For a first time, we recommend the family or classic tour with calmer stretches.
What to bring
A swimsuit, a towel, spare clothes and footwear that can get wet. We provide the wetsuit, life vest and helmet. Leave your phone and keys somewhere safe — the water is cold and fast.
Which tour to choose
For a first encounter with the Una, the family rafting tour on the Kostela–Grmuša route is ideal. If you want more adrenaline, the adventure tour from Štrbački Buk to Lohovo takes you through the strongest rapids. Students get a special discount with a valid ID.
Ready for your first adventure? Book your slot and ride down the most beautiful river in Europe.
